Screw Peg Install

Step 1

Remove pad from peg

  • Remove the 2 screws from the bottom holding the highway peg pad to the peg bracket (These bolts can be discarded. They will not be reinstalled)

Step 2

Connect the dowel screw

  • Thread the included rivet nut on to the dowel screw

Step 3

Prepping the Rubber Foot Peg

  • Using plyers or channel locks, screw the dowel screw in to the rubber foot peg

Step  4

Drill the foot peg bracket

  • Use 3/8 Drill and drill bit to drill out the holes on the foot peg bracket to accommodate the new mounting hardware.

Step 6

  • Reinstall the rubber foot pad on to the peg bracket, adding the new highway peg bracket to the bottom of the peg.

Fasten it to the peg using the ¼ inch hardware (flat washer, lock washer, nut)  that we  have included for you.

Step 8

Mount Highway Peg Arm

  • Insert the 3/8 button head bolt in to the highway bracket

  • Followed by 2 washers

  • Followed by the highway peg arm

  • Followed by the 2 smaller washers

  • Lock in with 2 lock washers

  • Followed by the 2 acorn nuts

  • Tighten hardware using 5.5 mm Allen and a 5/8 Wrench

Side Note : The arm is reversible. You can install the arm with the arm arch up or the arm arching down

Step 9

Install the Peg

  • Bolt peg to the top of the highway peg arm

Step 10

Adjust Peg as needed

  • Sit on bike add place foot on peg to determine if you need to adjust the peg for comfort

Side Note:You may have to adjust again once you’ve rode the bike around a few times
