Bolt Peg Install

Step 1

  • Remove the 4 Screws from the bottom of the floorboard, holding the rubber foot pad to the floorboard (Using T25 bit) . (These screws will be reinstalled later)

Step 2

  • Place the included template into the floorboard. Template is marked left and right for each side of the bike

Step 3

  • Mark the holes that will need to be drilled, with either a punch, marker or start a small hole

Step 4

  • Drill out he 2 holes using a 5/16 drill bit . Then vacuum or blow out the metal shaving

Step 4

Mounting the highway peg bracket

  • Insert the included 2x 5/16 button head bolts along with the 5/16 flat washers into the new holes in the floorboard

  • Hold the highway peg bracket in place why you install 2 more 5/16 flat washers followed by two 5/16 nylon lock nuts

  • ( Highway peg brackets are mark left and right the slotted hole should be towards the back of the bike)

  • Go ahead and tighten up the bolts up using 3/16 Allen wrench and 1/2 wrench

  • Keep in mind you may want to adjust the bracket later to find your perfect position, DON'T FORGET TO TIGHTEN THE BOLTS ALL THE WAY BEFORE TAKING A TEST DRIVE

Step 5

Mount Highway Peg Arm

  • Insert the 3/8 button head bolt in to the highway bracket

  • Followed by 2 washers

  • Followed by the highway peg arm

  • Followed by the 2 smaller washers

  • Lock in with 2 lock washers

  • Followed by the 2 acorn nuts

  • Tighten hardware using 5.5 mm Allen and a 5/8 Wrench

Side Note : The arm is reversible. You can install the arm with the arm arch up or the arm arching down

Step 6

Install the Peg

  • Bolt peg to the top of the highway peg arm (6mm Allen wrench)

Step 7

Reinstall the rubber foot pad back on the floorboard reusing the four T25 screws

Step 8

Adjust Peg as needed

  • Sit on bike and test foot on pegs to determine if you need to adjust the peg for comfort

Side Note:You may have to adjust again once you’ve rode the bike around a few times
